Hey guys, I need to inform you about something that is very common and very dangerous. Phishers. I have just been sent a phishing link by one of my Steam 'friends':
Basically, a phisher is someone who basically hacks your account (correct me if I'm wrong) usually by sending you a link which seems harmless, but it's obvious how to spot how it isn't legit.
NUMBER 1: They will usually say this like in the pic on top, e.g. 'Hey my buddy wants to trade with you click this link'.
NUMBER 2: If you can, you can see that there is a slight change in spelling in the link, 'steamcomnunrty', which is a phishing link where they can hack your account. It doesn't matter if you are feeling curious as to what it looks like, it doesn't matter if you have the best virus defense in the world DON'T CLICK THE LINK.
I just wanna put this out there, keep safe guys, and if you are unsure on anything or you feel I have missed something out, add it to the comments!
