I'm certain there's been a case of admin abuse on the server. A little backstory for those who aren't aware:
So our base was griefed by Zub and Frezzy by placing a stone gate and essentially locking us into our own base. This, sure I have no problem with, 2 C4s and we can blast out of it. But the nature of this occurrence is quite shady and not certain and Brother and I are certain that admin abuse has a part to take in this. Hear me out:
Because the admins have a plug-in to show where everyone is on the map (used to spot speed-hackers and shit, as Zub so claims) they said they would not raid. From this logic, it would only make sense for them ALSO not to grief, because that disrupts our gameplay unfairly due to the fact that they can use their admin powers to know where everyone is, and thus, find out where our base is and grief us. I can be sure that they used admin powers to do so because of these reasons:
The admins arguments had holes in them. First they said 'We just found your base', then they said 'maybe someone told us where your base was. Their argument seems a bit wishy-washy on their side and not very rock solid. If the admins had not used their admin powers to know where we were, they probably would not have known where we were because who the would look around in such a barren area which is not very close to any major cities? Whereas their base is quite easy to find because it is close to a major city, like literally right next to it.
Secondly, the admins didn't even try and back up their argument that 'someone told us' where our base was. Perhaps because it's a weak argument? That can still be up to debate.
Another thing that Zub said was 'What, so we can't play on our own server now?'. You set up the rules that you cannot raid (yet you still do raid small bases, but that's irrelevant) due to the fact that you have these admin powers and this could be seen as cheating. There is little difference from you using your map to raid us to using your map to grief us- either way you use admin powers to find out where we are.
One last thing- when we are out to raid, Zub and Frezzy take screenshots and record our raids. How do they know we are out raiding? Because they check their map. So they then must know (or roughly know) the point at which we set out, which is our base, and use this to find us and grief us.
I know I'm probably gonna get the piss taken out of me for this- 'hahahah lol look at him crying out admin abuse lol we know this would happen' but I think my evidence is enough to back up my argument. The parameters need to be set as to what the limits are to the admins' powers, as they are quite vague, or perhaps it's the plug in that needs to be fixed so that admins can set who they want to see so that trusted players such as ourselves are not seen by their maps as a part of the battle against hackers, so that the admins can have more freedom to raid without having prior knowledge of where people are- and thus people calling out admin abuse.
Or maybe I'm just over-reacting .
